Jody Horton, CTR,
became interested in body work when a family member discovered that the pain
from his broken back was relieved by massage.
She educated herself in reflexology for almost a decade before taking
formal training in 1997 and receiving her reflexology license.
When Jody learned about Thai massage, she realized that
this technique went hand-in-hand with her reflexology work.
She also learned that there was no training available outside of
Thailand. She was very pleased
when the Thai Institute of Healing Arts
opened in 2005 in Washington, D.C.
The Thai Institute follows the direct ancient lineage of Father
Doctor Shivagokomarpaj. Jody
